About This Site Initially I establish this site for the sole reason of archiving my blogs on MySpace. I have found it highly objectionable, that MySpace delete (not so) old blogs, that people invest time and effort to produce, by a JavaScript algorithm with no warning or archiving facilities. As time went by, I expanded the contents of my the sites. This website a mere hobby of mine and it is not intended for profit or gain. This site is totally financed from my own funds, I do not seek, accept or receive any financial or other support to maintain it, and that is the way I want it. It is a Soap Box on which I express my own subjective opinion on politics, books and other writes opinions. Although I express my view as concisely as I can, I do not object to those of you who have opposing views, in fact I encourage dissenting views, I recognise that I have no more monopoly on what is right or wrong than anyone else, we may agree or disagree on opinions but we must get our facts right and that goes for me too. The links to book sellers in the "Recommended Reading" section, should not be viewed as an endorsement of a particular book sellers but rather indicative of where from I had obtained such book, or where it can be easily obtained from, should you wish to purchase it. I include on my list ONLY books that I read AND that I feel that they are worthy of reading. It is my (totally) subjective opinion. I regard myself as conservative and it is reflected my selection of books, videos and opinions. However, I am not a member of any political party, nor do I push for one. Conservatism means different things to different people even among those who regard themselves as conservative. Mine is simple, If it ain't broke don't fix it. We have reached this level of progress in civilization by building on what works, one does not demolish one's house because a window is broken, one simply repair the window. History is full of people who wanted to change the world and start again, we have witness the latest attempt disintegrate with the collapse of the Soviet Union and Communism in Eastern Europe. All Communists revolutions had two phenomena in common, they all followed by immediate withdrawals of liberties and persecution and famine. So much for a new and "better world". These days we have very few (and brave) people who describe themselves as "Communists" but that does not mean that communism has passed, it is live and well under all its euphemisms such as "progressive", "environmentalists", "human right activists" and others who are so concerned about our liberties that they want to take them away from us, for safe keeping I assume. On the other side capitalist ideologies are just as bad. How "free" is free trade when it freely dismantles our manufacturing industries? How "free" is free enterprise, where corporations are free to rip the people off? Read your credit card "agreement", it makes a mockery of the word, it is not an agreement, it is an edict as indeed all your "agreements" with power utilities, cable (or satellite) TV providers, ISP's, municipal councils etc, to say nothing about what those agreement contain. When was the last time that you freely negotiated such "agreements"? And you call THIS "a free economy?" And there is the Muslim menace. I have nothing against Muslims per se, I grew among Muslim Arabs and know the difference between peace people of the Muslim faith and an incited mob, often comprises by no less than the very same "peaceful" Muslims. The word "Islam" comes from the Arabic word "aslama", meaning "submission", NOT from the word "salam" (meaning "peace") as some fools claim. Islam is not the region of peace, in fact Islam is not just a religion, Islam is a way of life, the Koran and the Hadith mandates every aspect of life for a Muslim down to what leg a Muslim put first when he or she enters a dunny. Gone are the day that you could just grab an overnight bag and hop on a plane, had you do only half the things to the Guantanamo Bay's detainees, as you have to endure before you allow to board an airliner these days, the "human rights" lawyers will be on to you like a rash. Nearly every commercial fight is a monument to Muslim terror, the exceptions are "Islamic" airliners with little or no security procedures such as "Emirate", they are protected, by Allah, I guess. Don't be a useful idiot for an of them.
